Born Pretty Stamping Plate Review

Hi there everyone!!!!

Today I will be sharing 2 new Born Pretty Store stamping plates. In recent months Born Pretty have jumped on the band wagon and produced lots of new stamping plates and designs. Some kind of look like everyone elses and others are really unique. I brought a bunch of the rectangle plates and circle ones. The regular circle ones are pretty much the same as what they have sold before, but the new backed rectangle ones are very impressive,

I found that for the price of $5.09 each (tho I did get them on special for $3.99) these were really good value for money. The image sizes are approx 2cm x 1.5cm which will fit most nails. They are really deeply etched and I could pick up the stamping polish very easy with all of my stampers. The fact the have the plastic backing is great so there is no chance of cutting yourself on the sharp edge.

I picked a image for both plates and created this manicure using Nail Stamping Queen black stamping polish and a Celestial Cosmetics polish.

As you can see they stamp really well!!!!

Nail Stamping Queen Stamping Polish Review.

Hi there everyone! Today I will be sharing with you the new Nail Stamping Queen Stamping Polishes. 

I have really had a good look at what is out there in the stamping world this past few months while researching for the Stamp-A-Palooza month. It is amazing how many brands are out on the market ATM.  I was lucky enough to get my pinkies on to this brand. Nail Stamping Queen Sent me some for review and as I liked them so much I went out and brought the rest. That is how much I liked these. 

Now the price is not the cheapest on the market, but to me it is all about performance when it comes to a stamping polish. the BIG box that needs to be ticked is....well is it opaque on black??? There are a lot of brands that claim this and honestly as far as white is concerned, MDS, Celestial cosmetics and Nail stamping Queen so far are the only ones that really do exactly as what they claim. MDS for me is out of the picture tho as I'm not a fan of not knowing what I am putting on my fingers ( you can see the review Here ) Everyone knows  I am a fan of Celestial Cosmetics stamping polish (you can see my review Here)  But I have to say that Nail Stamping Queen stamping polishes are now one of my go to products!!!

Its all about the opacity!!!!!!!

Lets check them out!  

Nearly all of their colours stamp opaque on black. as there are just so many, I have stamped on black card stock. and the black on a white sticker. I have also done some manicures too which I will share at the bottom, Some of the manis you may have seen before but I want to remind that's they stamp well over everything. Formula varies depending on the colour. some of these colours need to be HIGHLY pigmented to get opaqueness over black so I did find several of my bottles to have lumps in them. I have been assured when talking to the owner that she has fine tuned her mixing process and nearly all polish leaving her now has no lumps, but honestly the lump issue does not affect the stamping in any way. The Formula is also quite thick. Again this is due to the pigment, and in turn, I think makes for a better stamping polish. It is easy to use and gives great coverage due to its thick nature. The stamping polish is also noted you can use them as a polish as well, tho personally I would not do this, with such high pigments and tint you may end up with stained nails. So I will only use them for stamping.

All colours have their name under them in the images and are grouped by colour hue.

White,Black Greys and silvers- A lot of these look quite similar. The off white/dove grey and silvery are very similar, but the white and silver lustre is a must have!

Pinks and Reds- The Fluro pink is amazing!!!! and as you can see all the reds are different. It is hard to see on this meduim but some of the reds are shimmery while others are a matte finish.

Yellows and Oranges- Again all of these are great. I love the fluro orange and oink! I would love to see a basic orange in this collection of colours tho.

Greens- This is a great variety of greens again some are shimmery and others matte. I am glad I have all of theses!!!!!

Blues and purples- Once again a great variety of colours here. I would love to see a bright purple or 2 here and maybe a few more different blues.

All in all These are awesome, I would love a brown and beige added to this collection and maybe some different metallics but I cannot complain on the variety, plus I know they are all 5 free and safe to use on your nails and get on your skin.

Messy Mansion Stamping plates.

Hi there everyone! Today I will be sharing with you several Messy Mansion stamping plates.

Messy Mansion sell many different types of plates. The basic type of plate Messy Mansion is the circle one. There are over 44 designs, with lots of different themes. Here are 4 of them to show you what they look like.

Here Is a manicure I have done using MM05 plate.

Next up are the Lead light Lacquer plates. These are designed for the Lead Light technique. I will be doing a whole post and video on how to do this, but for now I will show you the plates and how they stamp. The Lead Light Lacquer plates I found,due to their bold lines stamped amazing. I used the Creative Stamper to stamp all the images so you could get a good idea of how they looked.

Here are the plates. and how they stamp with black stamping polish on white cardstock.

Each plate has a great variety of  patterns and if you have longer nails a plate like the Lead Light Lacquer ones are a great option as you can get a consistent pattern on your nails.

Here is a Manicure done with the Lead Light Lacquer Plate A05.

Next  up is the Bridal Plates. Theses are delicate patterns that are beautiful for that special moment in your life where you want a subtle but glorious manicure. Bridal is totally the right word for theses pretty plates.

As you can see they stamp beautifully. Here is a subtle Manicure I created using Bridal Plate 02.

Saying that, if you tone it up you can get some great bright manis too!!!!

How to Stamp in Multi Colours, Plus How to Make a Stamping Polish Opaque.

Hi there everyone!!!!

Today I have a got 2 techniques to share with you today for Stamp -A-Palooza.

 Firstly I have one on how to stamp in multiple colours and the second part of the video shows you how to make a previously non opaque stamping polish become opaque over darker colours.

For both of these techniques I will be using Celestial Cosmetics stamping polishes. 

Why?? you might ask am I using this particular brand of stamping polish?? Well Celestial Cosmetics stamping polish I have found is the smoothest and cleanest stamping polish on the market. There is not an overload of pigment in the colours and because of this the polish is smooth not lumpy and stamps and dried at a good even rate. The only down side to this is that most of them are not opaque over darker coloured polishes. Hence why I have made the second half of the video.

Ok so what do you need?

Well in this video I am using all of the current shades of Celestial Cosmetics stamping polishes. I am also using the Messy Mansion basic accessory kit and rectangle stamper. I am using this in all of my tutorials so there is a constant element in everything I do this month.

I also used the Fab UR Nails stamping plate FUN12 and the Lead Lighting Lacquer plate from  Messy Mansion.

The usual lint free wipes and polish remover are also used.

Both techniques are super simple when you know how and the second technique to make a stamping polish can be used for all polish, tho I recommend to use a white stamping polish to mix with due to the high pigmentation in stamping polish. Please remember tho that when ever you put a lighter colour into a darker colour the finished colour will be slightly lighter.

Sugar Bubbles and HeHe Stamping Plate Review.

Hi there everyone!  Today I have 2 different brands of nail stamping plates to share with you all.

So As it is Stamp-a-Palooza, I will show you in detail the 2 plates and then share a manicure I created with the plate, just to give you an idea what kind of awesome designs you can do with a single plate.

First up is Sugar Bubbles SB005- This was my first experience with Sugar Bubbles. I had previously purchased a Sugar Bubble plate but I had not used it yet. So I was excited to see how the plate performed compared to other brands.

Here is the plate.

I love that this plate is 10 cm x 4 cm in size. Due to its large size there are a lot of images on the plate. You have 6 full size stamping images, 8 single images and 6 french tip images. Plus the 2 little images at the bottom,so a great variety. The full size images are 2cm x 1.5 cm in size. This will fit the average nail no dramas, but if you have longer or wider nails you will need to stamp twice.All of the images stamped well, apart from the "I <3 nail art " image. For what ever reason I just could not get it to stamp in fill for me. It could have been my stamper? or even the polish I was using ,who knows? I might try again with a different stamper at another time.

With the stamping plate I decided to see how well all the images co-ordinated together. I Created the below manicure with Glitter Gal White pointer, and Stamped with Black and Fluro Pink stamping polish. 

 He He plate 01- Is a traditional round plate. I had never used this brand before either, so it was a nice treat to receive it. The plate was divided into quarters so if you have longer nails you would be able to stamp in one go.I liked all 4 designs and felt they would be great for a simple but effective manicure! The plate is 6 cm across and each square stamping area is 3 cm.

I decided to do a manicure with this plate as well to see how it stamped. I found that all the designed stamped great! 

The 2 plates I got to road test were both great. I loved the patterns and the effectiveness of stamping. It makes a huge difference when you get a branded plate to a cheap ebay one!

Hi there everyone!

Today I have a stamping plate to share with you from born pretty. I was lucky enough to have a few born pretty items sent to me for review. I was sent plate M98 to have a play with.

I found the plate to have good size stamping images on it and when I places my polish to scrape off the image came up clean and clear on the stamping pad. I stamped each image on my nails for you all to get an idea of the image quality.

There were a few little breaks in the image pattern but i find that sometimes even the best plates can do this.

My very first AN monday post- Inspired by!

Hey there Everyone...ok so it is tuesday...i know but i was heaps busy yesterday what with the pre order of my Lokis lacquer polishes collection etc and totally did not get my nails finished!!!

Anyways the theme this week for Aussie Nails Monday was Inspired by a..blogger....IG etc person. So i decided to pick Tammy who is behind IG account @ohmygoshpolish she also has a FB page as well called Oh my gosh! polish  her work is amazing and she is really known for all the awesome UV nail swatches and nail art. 

Now im not the best at that kind of thing but i thought i would give it a go!

As i did not even have any UV polish i made myself up some little testers of UV pigment and painted my nails over white undies. Then with several stamping plates including cheeky plate wild at heart and princess charming i stamped all the images you see on my nails!
