Color Club Winter Affair collection swatches and Review.

Happy New Year Everybody!
Today i have the Color Club Winter affair collection to share with you.
When this collection came out i fel in love!, a collection of polishes that were not filled with red and green. but the colours were still christmassy but not in your face christmassy.

OK so here we go.........

First up is, Gift of Sparkle.
This polish is super pretty. the pics i took did not do this polish justice. i used 2 coats and seche Vite (SV) top coat. In the sun this polish is so sparkly! The formula was a little thick but nothing a few drops of polish thinner can't fix.

The next polish is, Glitter wonderland.
 Another really pretty purple. I used 2 coats and SV top coat. i loved how it looked a bit of a foil but i am pretty sure there would be a dupe out there for this. The formula was great.

The third polish is called Berry and bright.
I love this polish. i am not or have ever been a fan of red polish but the fact that this is like a foil and a real dark red i will definitely wear this again. I used 2 coats with SV as top coat. the formula was a little thick but is fixable.
 

This polish was actually the one i was excited about the most. i LOVE green polishes, but after seeing the great swatches then using it for myself i was a little disappointed. :(  I was expecting it not to be so gold. i used 2 coats with SV as a top coat. i think if i used a green as a base coat i would get a better effect, so i am keeping this polish anyways! The formula was great.

Winter Affair,
i almost did not buy this one from the collection. but i am glad i did get it.  The deep burgundy is so vampy and just perfect. i used 2 coats with SV as a top coat. as you can see i got a little shrinkage with this one. :( the formula was a little thick but was easy fixed.

And last is snowflake topper.
 this is a dupe for nubar 2010. though i think there might be more flakes in snowflake. (pardon the pun)
I put this over berry and bright and then over glitter wonderland.
Since taking these pics i have put snowflake on my black gel nails and it looked awesome over black too. a keeper!!!

The whole collection was a great one if you ask me. not a single polish i did not like. which is rare as usually there is a pink in a collection i just do not want!
a couple of the polishes were thick but after a couple of drops of thinner they were ok.

For the price i paid for this collection $35.00 including shipping on ebay (beautyzone2007) i was very happy!
