Pretty Serious Rooftop soiree collection swatches

Hi there everyone!!! Today I have the beautiful Rooftop soiree collection by Pretty Serious Cosmetics I also have the amazing Evies first christmas polish as well to share.

When I recieved them in the post I was so super excited! Id seen the macros a fair while before they were released and knew that I would be in for a treat and that the collection would not disappoint. I have collected Pretty Serious polish every since the store opened several years ago and apart from the charity polishes and the special coloured golden tickets I own every polish that has been released!! Actually some of them I own 2 of each!!!

All the polishes swatched today I used the crystal top cost for maximum shinyness and quick dry. 

Lets check them out!!!!!

Cocktail Bar- is a complex polish of tealy green and blue glitter in a jelly base. I could have used 2 coats for this swatch but I chose to use 3 coats really thinly applied to get more depth from the polish. As you can see it is a stunning combo of colours. 

Glitz and glamour- is a very fine combo of silver and gold glitter which becomes opaque on the nail in just 2 coats. I totally fell for this polish the minute I put it on my nails! Plus for an added bonus I found it an amazing base for other polishes. It really gives a jelly polish a added sparkle!!!!

I did a mani with the polish as a base then stamped on it with black stamping polish and then coloured in bits of the stamping with red carpet treatment. The effect is stunning.

Red Carpet Treatment- Is a red jelly base filled to the brim with many different red glitters and a find silver holo glitter. I did 3 thin layers by themselves to get depth with this polish but 2 coats would have been fine.

Daphne after dark- is a black jelly polish with the signature daphne glitter colours throughout. I love this version of daphne. I only used 2 coats as well to her this finish and with the crystal top coat it just looks stunning!!!!

 Moments til midnight-is a blue jelly polish with an array of different sized gold glitters. This is not a combo I expected from Pretty Serious but I love it! The gold really shows through the layering of 3 coats I used. Tho I did find some of the larger glitters wanted to clump together on the brush, it was an easy fix with dabbing the polish to get them all over the nails with ease.

 I also decided to add the blue from Moments till midnight to my stamping mani to see what it would look like! the finished mani was super pretty!!!!!

Invitation only- Well this was the biggest surprise from the bunch! Pretty Serious first holo polish!!! and what a doozie!!!! Excuse all the pictures but this baby needed a lot of attention!!! there is so much going on with this polish!

Firstly it is a browny grey holo. at first glance it reminded me a little of OPI my private jet original formula but with some flakie action as well. In some light the polish took on a pinky hue and others a brown one. At one point im sure I captured a slight green haze too!! I took a bunch of pics capturing all the different colours it produced as well as the holo!

I used only 2 coats for the swatches. What I did note tho was when I put the crystal top coat on I lost a lot of the holographic goodness. so make sure you use a holo friendly top coat. I used Artiste! top coat on these swatches as the holo did not go with this particular top coat.

So along with these amazing pretty polishes in the Rooftop Soiree collection, Pretty Serious released a limited edition set of polish cuticle oil (that smelt like candy cane) and a matching red glass nail file. I purchased this LE set as soon as it was on preorder! The polish which is called Evies first christmas. It is a pretty red creme with an amazing gold shimmer in it. The shimmer was super hard to capture but I did the best I could! I used 2 coats for these swatches.

I then decided that id try Red carpet treatment over Evies first christmas to see what it would be like. I did one coat of Red Carpet treatment.

I love how just one coat really made you see the tiny holo glitters in the polish. Beautiful!!!!
