Hi there everyone!
Today I have 3 products to share from the new Essence range.
I have a the new Silky touch Blush, a classic nude eyeshadow and the essence lash princess mascara.
The 3 products all go well together, I noticed that essence have really focused on a "nude"range of products this season here in Oz. I love that as I personally do not wear a lot of bright colours, and my daughter Zoe (who is modelling for the pics) likes nude shades too. So everything is very work friendly.
The silky touch blush 90 Summer Dreaming, is a pretty pale peach colour. With a brush it gives a slight highlight on the cheeks. I actually tried to take pics of it on my daughters cheeks but you could not really see it on the pics, that's how subtle it is. So if you want a slight highlight on your cheekbone or even on your eyelid this is a perfect colour.
The eyeshadow -15 Hazel me Not is a very pale beige colour. The eyeshadow is very subtle when on the eyelid but it blends really were wit natural skin tones. I combined this eyeshadow with the mascara in the below photo, so you can see how it looks.
I have also done a swatch so you can see the colours of both the blush and the eyeshadow put directly on my arm. I used a basic eyeshadow brush to pop the swatches on.
You can really see how pretty and nude they are.
Next is the Lash Princess Mascara. When I first opened this I liked the look of the long wand. I say this because I have quite long lashes and when wearing mascara I like to be able to pop on mascara in one big swoop of the brush. The mascara i felt was a little thick and when putting it on my daughters eyelashes it did tend to stick the eyeleashes together, but nothing a little comb cannot fix. I did not use a comb in the swatches so you can see the unaltered effect. The mascara also did increase the length of the eyelashes, which Zoe thought was great!
All 3 products can be found in Priceline, Target and online at The Heat Group.
The Blush retails at $5.10, the eyeshadows RRP$3.35 and the mascara RRP $6.75
For the price they are very good value for money and well worth having a look at next time you are in Priceline or Target.
Until next time....
