River Island We heart nail art blogger challenge.

Hi there everyone!

So Valentines day..... over for another year, but RIVER ISLAND have a blogger challenge going on ATM until the 24th Febuary 2014. 

I'm sure there are lot of you Aussies out there who do not know who River Island is.Well it is a UK based clothing shop but now you can purchase there stuff online here in OZ! 

When I lived in the UK I use to get a lot of stuff from them for work and even going out. I'm super excited I can get their stuff again!!!!!

Anyways...... they have a We Heart Nail Art Blogger Challenge going on and they are looking for some funky nail art to represent V day.

So I grabbed out the...and i'll be honest...... very few pastel polishes I own..... and drew up on paper what I wanted to pop on my nails.

*Side bar here......I just realised I own over 1000 polishes and after going through them all only 16 were pastels! OMG!!! I so need to up my pastel collection!!!*

So I decided to have a bit of fun with this mani. 

Everything on this mani is hand painted with nail polish. I did not use acrylics as I wanted to keep the colours matching.

Aussie Nails Monday- Santa nails

Hello there Everyone! Another Aussie nails Monday! I totally missed last weeks *slaps hand* but this week i was not going to miss out! As it is Santa and Elves!

I love Santa and elves!!!!

So I has to do a traditional Santa mani. I was going to go elves but changed my mind.

I first painted all my nails with OPI Danke-shiny red. then on my pinkie i did dots using Ulta3 lily white, my ring finger has Dead set babes custom polish called A very Barnicle Christmas (after my 2 girls), my middle finger i painted on some lines with Ulta3 Lily white, my pointy finger has a gradient of Lynnderellas Do you see what i see? and my thumb i hand painted on santas coat using Ulta3 lily white, black satin and Kiko 628. everything was topped of with Seche vite.

I have to say i loved this mani. Tho after taking off the mani the OPI has stained my nails red :(. so be warned makes sure you use a couple of coats of base coat first.

Some Christmassy nails......

Hi there Everyone!!!, 

today i have some nail art to share with you. As christmas is getting closer i have been adding more and more nail art when i paint my nails. and here is a mani i did last week. 

I went the christmas pudding main, which is a classic.

My thumb is Zoya Holly topeed with Lynnderella Emerald hope

On my pointy finger i used Zoya Chyna then did dots using a dotting tool in Ulta3 Lily White.

The middle finger is OPI what wizardry is this? then ulta3 lilly white with OPI don't pretzel my buttons as shading on the white. Then i used Zoya elissa and Zoya holly for the holly and berries.

The ring finger is Zoya holly then topped with Lynnderella emerald hope. i love this polish so very much and i wish i had every polish that Lynnderella does in single colours! they are awesome!

Lastly my pinkie is Zoya elissa topped with China Glaze snowglobe.

I think the Mani turned out quite well! I had a lot of positive comments on my nails when i was sporting it.
