Joss Nail Polish Bold Collection

*Press sample.

Hi there everyone!!! Today I have the new Bold colour collection by Joss Polish. Joss is an Aussie brand which is available at the Nail Super Store. The polish is very reasonably priced at AUD$6.95 for a 15ml bottle. I was lucky enough to swatch these pretties for the store, and they are super amazing! All of the colours are either 2 coats or almost 1 coats depending on how thick you pop your polish on. For all of these swatches I used a top coat of Seche Vite.
The formula was amazing on all of these colours with no issues at all.

Shall we check them out??

31 Day Challenge Reversed Polarities....

Hi there everyone..... Ok so todays challenges was reversed polarities.... now debbie who designed this challenge needs a slap for this one.... its super hard! i had not idea what to do until i had a chat with her and negatives were emntioned. so i thougth WARHOL!!! his pics were a bit like that, so I grabbed my MoYou plate the pro 15 and stamped marylin monroe on my nails .
I used color clubs for the base and then used Nail Stamping Queen stamping polishes 34.oink, 29.ultramarine blue, 4.purple and 15.fluro pink. to stamp the image.

As you can see it stamped really well!

Please excuse the slightly out of focus pic...we have no sun atm and my lightbox was not my friend with these neon colours :(

Make sure you check out everyone else's manis today....

Until next time.......

Emily de Molly Insipid Swatches and a Base for Todays 31 Day Challenge

Hi there everyone!!!!
Todays another day with the 31 day challenge I'm doing.

So I thought I would share a bunch of pictures I took of a new Emily de Molly  polish I brought the other day.

Insipid- is one of the new multichrome flakie polishes. It is a combo of many different colours which create this amazing effect. To put it how my 13 yr old Zoe described it...It is like someone putting dragon scales into a polish bottle. Yep I reckon she's right!!!!

The polish is amazing. To get an even effect for this one, I popped on my nails Lokis nail aprons first as not to make too much of a mess, then applied the polish onto a sponge as I would a gradient. then gently tapped it onto my nails. I did this 3 times so I suppose 3 coats?? So by donig this you get an even coverage of flakies from the polish and not too much base.
This technique is great for most glitter polishes. I saw this over at More Nail Polish for the first time and now am using it all the time!!!

Lest check out the swatches. Some are in artificial light and some are out side in overcast weather. I find this the best weather to get multi chromes to really show off their colours.

Just stunning!!!!

and as the challenge was glitter base what better way than to use this bad boy with the challenge!!

so I grabbed my Emily de Molly plate number 2 and stamped using Celestial Cosmetics stamping polish Pitch. I love the end result! plus to add a special finish I used Pretty Serious Cosmetics Aqua top coat to get that amazing glassy finish.

I think I am in love........

do not forget to check out everyone elses glitter base manis today and make sure you head on over to  Emily de Molly  website to pick up this beauty!!! its only $11.00 a bottle which i think is really reasonable!

Until next time....

Celestial Cosmetics January Release plus 31 Day Challenge with Iron Man!!!

*Press Sample.

Hi there everyone!!! how are you all? It will be a busy posting day today so bare with me...there may be up to 3 posts today, what with this review, and 2 nail art challenges i'm currently doing!!!

Ok. So today I have 2 polishes to share with you from Celestial Cosmetics. One is a creme and the other a stamping polish. Both polishes were released this week in Celestial Cosmetics January Release.

Lets look at the first one shall we.

Carpo- Is a pale grey creme. Grey is in at the moment so what better time to grab a bottle of grey polish!!!!  The formula with Carpo I found was good tho I did need 3 coats for full coverage. But when I like a colour it is not really an issue for me. The coats dried very fast which was nice so even tho I needed 3 it did not take long to have touch dry nails.

Midas-Is a gold stamping polish. I love coloured stamping polish! Really I do! I use a lot of black and white stamping polish but other colours I find do not always stamp that well.
This is not the case with Midas. Midas stamped perfectly every time and was opaque over black as the next few pics will show. I stamped with a fine detailed plate and one with a lot of stamping space so it had bigger areas to cover.

larger pattern over black and white

Lastly I decided to do a double up ! Yep I'm loving double ups ATM when I'm currently trying to swatch and do 2 challenges at a time ;)
I decided to do the #31 day challenge with Midas, and as it was Red as a base I chose to use Celestial Cosmetics Men of Mayhem as it was a great red holo... but as usual I pop on a holo and the sun goes away .....so I took the best pics I could.

Guess what I did that was red and gold??? Yup IRONMAN!!! got to love Ironman!!!!

I used Emily de molly plates 3 and 12 for the stamping and then hand painted on the Iron Man face. I need a little practice I think as it was not 100% in proportion.

You will also notice too I used Midas as the feature nail. I used 2 coats. you will have to be careful using this as a polish rather than a stamping polish as it is a little thicker than normal due to the amount of pigment in it so it takes longer to dry.

Well both of these polishes are available over at Celestial Cosmetics now. Midas and Carpo are both AUD$8.50 and men of mayhem is AUD$11.00

Don't forget to check out also everyone else's challenges below for today!!!!

Until next time.......

31 Day Challenge monochromatic with Celestial Cosmetics

Hi there everyone!!! today the theme for the challenge was monochromatic. i was excited to do this so I grabbed out my bottle of Reaper Crew by Celestial Cosmetics and my white stamping polish Snow by Celestial Cosmetics  and decided to do some nail art!
I did a watermarble with the 2 on my pinkie, the rest of the nails i used a variety of bundle monster stamping plates and a bow from Born pretty store. then a top coat of Artiste by Pretty Serious Cosmetics which is awesome as it does not smudge nail art plus it also does not affect holo polishes!!!

I love the finished result!!!!

I cannot wait until tomorrow for another challenge!!!!

Until next time.....
