Shades of Phoenix review part 1

Ok so today i am going to review 2 polish from Shades of Phoenix. I was lucky enough to get Teneil the brain child from Shades of Phoenix as my secret Bunny this Easter and i was given 3 of her polishes.
The 2 today i am sharing with you is a custom she made for me and one of her core lines.
so lets check them out!!!

First up is the custom polish she made for me.....

This is called " find me if you pan" it is a lovely shade of tealy green base with many sizes of hexes in there. The application was really good and it only took 2 coats to get the above look. I have also popped on a coat of Seche vite. There were a few curling glitters but  nothing the top coat couldn't fix.

The next polish is from Shades of Phoenix core range.

This polish is called Astraios. A beautiful polish. A blue gelly type base with an array of blue silver glitters and silver stars. Some fishing was needed for the stars but i don't mind that cause i can them place them were i want them rather a clump of stars where it is not needed. It again took only 2 coats to get opaqueness and if i had used undies only one coat would have been needed.

Both polishes were very pretty and both my fav colours so i was chuffed to bits to get them!!!!

you can buy Shades of Phoenix HERE and i believe that Teneil will be releasing some new shades very soon!!!!!

Galaxy nails...my first attempt!!!

So today i have some nails i did last night.
I have always admired the galaxy nails i see on people and personally i am a paint my nails gal not a nail art gal! but last night i thought i would give it a go!!!
And here you have it! my first attempt!

They do not look too bad!!
I used Ulta3 midnight fever for the base then sponged on Dollish Polish its bigger on the inside. the the sponged on the purples which were colour club a winer affair, bloom osaka, and china glaze when stars collide. i then sponged on the white, and the blue i did not have so i mixed up ulta 3 lily white and picture polish bombshell to get the colour i needed. then popped some white dots with my dotting tool and finally i sponged on china glaze shooting stars.

I think i might give this another go with more detail next time !!!

Paint your nails Blue day 2 and 3 My Families nails!

Yesterday was officially the autism awareness day. i had planned on doing a big thing on my blog about it but after all the other stuff going on with this month it totally got away from me! so today i am sharing with you our whole family's manis for autism awareness day!

first up are mine.
1st April Mani- this was Lokis Lacquer Allons-Y 3 coats by itself with top coat.

2nd April Mani- i used Essence I love bad boys topped with DIFFERENT dimension -light it up blue. which is awesome as it glows in the dark blue!!!

Todays Mani- 3rd April- i am wearing one of my all time favorite polishes. but i only have a mini bottle so i do not wear it very often. it is by Dollish Polish and called- It is bigger on the inside. i love how it is the perfect blue with tiny tiny flecks of lighter blue through it.

So now we are up to my Hubby Rob. He is wearing Revlon Royal. one coat. i honestly do not think her would have sat still for more than 1 coat. Plus OMG the moaning about getting stained nails!!! he was worse than us nail bloggers about it!!! it was like harden up rob!!!

Next up is Poppy my youngest. she was very vocal about getting her fingers AND toes painted. and HAD to choose the polish! so on her toes Poppy is wearing shades of Phoenix Astraios. she made me laugh as she went nuts when she saw a little glitter star on her toes!

And on pop's fingers Poppy picked Zoya Noel. i love this polish as i only needed to put 1 coat on her pinkies!!!

And last up is Zoe my eldest. She is the reason we do all this as Zoe has Autism. Zoe wanted to make her own polish for this day and i let her loose on my lokis lacquer glitters and tints!
She came up with a polish she called mustache cash stash. a quote from regular she informs me! plus she also says she is going to make a WHOLE collection! we will see!

So everyone has blue nails in our house!!!!
 did you do yours??
