Orly Smartgels Glowstick and Purple Crush Swatches

Hi there everyone! Today I have some awesome new Gel polishes from Orly.
Orly have a great smart gel range to choose from here in Australia. I have swatched a few of their gels in the past. You can check out all the Orly gels I have swatched in the past Here.
today's 2 I have to share I was super excited about!! Firstly Let me explain the Orly Neon polishes are just amazing and one of my lemmings has been Glowstick a highlighter neon yellow polish, but every time I go to buy it I find it is out of stock. so when I saw that Orly now have released it in gel format I Squealed in delight! Along with Glowstick today I have Purple crush to share as well. This is a bright neon purple gel which is eye blinding neon.
Both of these neon gels were swatched over a white gel base to show the true potential of the neon colour, tho I have swatched without a white base and you will just need to do an extra cured layer of the colour.

Lets look at these amazing gels!!!

Glowstick- Is a highlighter yellow neon creme gel polish. It is super bright and glows under black light as well. Formula was awesome and over white gel I only needed 1 coat of the yellow. By itself you would need 2-3 coats so you do not get a VNL. I liked it over white as it really made the colour pop.

Purple Crush-  Is a bright purple neon creme gel polish. The colour is amazing on and I found it was great for gel nail art. The formula was great and I used 2 coats over white gel. You would need 3 coats if you were not using a white gel base. The gel also glows under black light. I decided to create some nail art with this colour. For the first mani I did polka dots with glowstick and with the second I brushed on purple crush over glowstick with a thing nail art brush.

Pretty Serious Collaborate and listen collection swatches

Hi there Everyone! I'm Excited to share with you all the new Trio by Pretty Serious Cosmetics

Pretty Serious Cosmetics has collaborated with several bloggers out in polish world and with them created 3 stunning polishes.

The 3 bloggers are Michelle from Lab Muffin, Kristy from @thepolishhaven and Swatch and Learn.

Make sure you check out they sites and learn all about how they decided on the beautiful polish that they created.

So lets check them out shall we??

First up is........

Undercover Mermaid- This is a work appropriate polish with a twist..... A beautiful beige creme polish perfect to wear to work....but...when you look more closely  it has the most amazing green flakies throughout it. Its like an undercover secret party going on in your polish. I totally love it!
Formula was awesome, only 2 coats for opacity and then top coat. This is such a unique polish. there is nothing really like it out there that i've seen.

Stuck in the Middle- Is an amazing fuchsia jelly with the tiniest of bluey sparkle thoughout it. Kristy from the polish haven was the amazing Naughty Night Shift Nurse, and this is her follow up polish she has not disappointed at all! I used 3 coats of this polish tho I could have gotten away with 2 I really liked the squishiness of it so I went all out with 3 coats. It took a little longer to dry than undercover mermaid but I did use 3 coats and it is a jelly but nothing a quick dry top coat cannot fix.

Swatch and Learn- Is to say the least almost indescribable. It is truly amazing. I fell in love the moment I saw the first swatch and bottle shot and knew it was a keeper! Hmmm how to describe it? Well it is a green jelly type polish with an abundance of tiny glass flakies which have an amazing shift from the green in the polish to an orangy colour and even a slight blue hue. Truly amazing. I only needed 2 coats for opacity and if I had of used undies I reckon one coat would have been enough. You do not need any kind of dark base to see the shift like a lot of duo polishes. the polish by itself is perfect.

Dinosaur Nail art

Hi there everyone!
I have been a little AWOL this past week and im sorry about that. I have a lot going on at home with my 2 special needs girls so they took priority over everything else and that included my blog. But im back today to share with you some nail art I did the other week when I took my eldest Zoe to the Australian Museum to see the Dinosaur exhibit. We had a great day and Zoe loved every bit! She is mad for dinos and I thought why not pop a dino on my nails!!!

I used a bunch of polishes including a huge array of Ulta3 colours and Dance Legend Knight to make the scales. Everything was hand painted except for the scales which was stamped on with a mash plate then I went over it with different coloured polishes.

Here is a few pics of Zoe at the museum and on her way home too.

We had a blast and several people commented on my mani!

Until next time......

Dance Legend multichromes....Sully Swatches

Hi there everyone! today I have a stunning polish to share with you. Dance Legend is one of my favourite brands of polishes right now, and although it is getting easier to purchase it, you do need to have some ninja skills if you are trying to buy from a e-tailer. All of my Dance Legends I own have been brought direct from Dance Legend themselves or have been given as gifts over the past year or so. But if you see a DL polish in a blog sale make sure you grab it, so far I do not think I have owned a single one that I have not loved!!!

Today I have Sully from the chameleon collection they brought out last year. All the polishes in the collection are based on the characters from Monsters inc. When they came out I ordered all of them plus the Limited edition Knight which you can see HERE. Sully is the loveable blue/purple monster from monsters inc. This polish really has got it right in colours and some! the shift with this polish is simply amazing and you can almost get every colour of the rainbow from this polish in different lights!
I got a bit carried away taking pics of this polish but I had to share them all as everyone gets a little different shift. I swatched 2 coats of Sully over Black gel polish, the height of the gel on my nails also created an awesome effect at the tips of my nails which you can see :) The majority of these pics were taken in the shade for the best shift effect.

How amazing is this polish! Right!?!?!

Even my daughter Poppy wore this polish!!!

You can pick up Dance Legend Sully along with the rest of the collection over at DANCE LEGEND they retail for $8.00 each and have a flat rate shipping. also if you purchase over 10 bottles you get free world wide shipping. Things to remember tho. Russian post can be very hit and miss, my advice is to order no more than 12 bottles of polish at any one time then the parcel will be fairly small and get through customs quickly. Also if you polish does get stuck in customs, it can take up to 3 months to clear, tho I have not had any of these issues, other people I know have had them. Also I recommend to write in you comments when purchasing for them to wrap your polishes in bubble wrap. People I know have had polish arrive just loose in a box, tho I have heard that the packing has got better, I always make sure I ask for double wrapping.
Apart from that I have always had awesome service and when I have emailed Dance Legend they are always really quick to reply and help where they can.

Until next time......
