LaBomb Mani bomb review

*Press Sample.

Hi there everyone! today I have to share with you a new brand called La Bomb Mani bombs.

I was lucky enough to have some sent to me for review.

If you have been under a rock...the new and biggest craze is Mani Bombs. I have tried a few from america and TBH I was not very impressed. They smelt great but as far as moisturising my hands....meh.
When the owner Kura of  La Bomb Mani bombs asked if I would like to review a few I thought why not! And i'm so clad I did!!!!

I was sent the following Mani bombs-

2 were broken, but not by the lack of bubble wrap. I'm pretty sure Australia post stood on my parcel. but they are going to get popped into water anyways so its not an issue :)

I decided to use Love Spell for my first try with them. Reason....well I let Zoe pick and she liked the smell the best!
The scents on all of the bombs were really nice, My favourite would have to be the sweet pea and vanilla, and mulberry spice. I used a big fruit bowl to use and I used 45oC  water.

I popped Love Spell in the water and it fizzed for over a minute which was twice as long as other brands id tried!!!

Here is a video of it fizzing away!

Once it finished fizzing I placed my hand is for 5 minutes. I found that there was a bunch of oils on the surface and in the water.
After 5 min I took my hands out and thy felt so smooth and soft! Zoe decided she wanted to use the water too she she did the same as me for 5 min.

Zoes hands in the water

Both our hands felt so soft! I was very impressed as was Zoe!!!!

The left over water smelt so good I decided to use it to clean out the cats litter tray! Yup!!!! recycle! now the litter tray smells nice too!!!!!

These mani bombs are by far the best I have tried. They are a good size, reasonable priced and the amount of oils in them is perfect.

You can purchase them from  La Bomb Mani bombs and the prices are from AUD$1.80 each.
If you want to know when new stock is becoming available check out La Bomb Mani bomb Facebook page for all the up to date info!!!!!

Celestial Cosmetics Iron Throne Collection swatches and review.

*Press Sample.

Hi there everyone!
First up I have to apologise. It has been almost a month since my last post and that's pretty crap :'(
My kids have been quite sick these past 4 weeks what with chest infections, hand foot and mouth and Zoe my eldest finding out her spine has got worse again and will need to be re brace as soon as possible, which happened last week. So priorities dictated that the blog suffered. I have heaps of polishes to share with you tho! so it will be a game of catch up over the next few weeks sharing all the pretties out in the big world for sale ATM!!!!

But today I have  Celestial Cosmetics latest collection which is released today at 3pm.

The collection is inspired by Game of Thrones.
The Iron Throne Collection has 2 parts. A creme selection and a Holographic Collection.
boy oh boy the holo part was SOOOOOO hard to photograph!!!!! Bloody sun!!! we have had rain for 2 weeks and then when the sun finally decided to show its face, EVERY. SINGLE. TIME!!!!! I went out to take the pics it hid behind a cloud! It was like the sun KNEW I wanted to take sunny pics! The collection ended up taking me several days to photograph and I reckon I lost a few pounds running in and out trying to catch that ray of sun to make the holos do their magic!

So lets look at the cremes first. I would also say I like how the cremes flow really well with the holos. they match quite well so you could combine the 2 to do some great nail art.

All the cremes were just 2 coats and I used  Celestial Cosmetics solar rays top coat.

A Golden Crown- Is a mustard yellow creme. no streaks. The pictures has a slight colour cast. I tried to remove it best i could but the polish is slightly more yellow than the pics shows.

The Night Lands- Is a brown creme. It is darker than a fawn but not a deep brown either. the description I was given regarding this polish was coffee brown but i would not say it is quite that dark....It depends on how strong you have your coffee ...right ;)

sun

Dark Wings,Dark Words- Is a green creme. This colour is not quite forest green bit leaning toward that colour hue. I love this colour very much!

Myhsa- Is a plum/red creme. The colour has a slight blue hue to it and is almost verging on pink but as a unique colour?? yep I am sure it is!!!!

Breaker of Chains- This is a really amazing blue creme. It was a hard one to get picture off, my camera did not like it at all but once I adjusted the photos a little you can see how pretty it is!!! the sun shot is a good representation of the actual colour :)

Ok so lets now check out the holographics. all of these I used 2 coats except for Kings road which I used 3 coats on. I used celestial cosmetics solar rays as a top coat with these too. All the pics I took I used natural sunlight so you can get a good look at the linear holo these bad boys produce.

Kings Road- A lime green holo polish is what everyone needs in their collection! this baby is very similar to China glaze L98R G8R but a million times better formula! I should know! as this colour is my number one lemming colour! I own 2 bottles of ChG L8R G8R but im sure this will replace it!  the linear holo is perfect and very defined! This colour will be limited Edition and there will only be 16 bottles available.

Dance with Dragons-  Is another green holo. This time it is a forest green with a slight blue hue to it.The linear holo is again amazing and I totally loved this colour. Im such a sucker when it comes to green polish!!!!

Garden of Bones- Is a very unique colour. it is a beige holo that reminds me of a nude opi I own. It is super linear and honestly if you had to pick one holo from this collection I would pick this. I really do feel its totally unique.

Fire and Blood- Well Im sure you can guess this is a bright red holo polish. again the linear holo is amazing. In real life depending if you see it in full sun or in artificial light the colour does change a bit. The sun pics are colour accurate. the polish s this bright red, but then in shade the polish has a distinct pink hue to it. This is a hard one to capture. tho I am pretty sure I got it as close as I could!

You Win or you Die-  So this is a super bright blue holo. It is the closest colour to the famous Santas Blue Balls that was a Xmas polish a while back. So if you missed that bad boy you need this one!!!!!  This amazing blue holo is another must have I will be buying a back up for this baby!!!!!
