Loki's Lacquer: OPI Starlight Collection Swatches.

Hi there everyone!!!!

Today I have the Christmas collection from OPI.

The Starlight collection consists of 18 polishes in total, tho here in Australia OPI is only releasing 12 of the 18 shades.

I have all 12 to show you today.

Lets check them out shall we??............

The Center of the You-niverse- Is a blacky charcoal grey polish that has a jelly type base with lots of tiny glitters. I only used 2 coats for full opacity.

Love Is In My Cards- Is a very Christmas red. The creme is perfect in 2 coats. I just love how OPI do reds so well.

Ro-man-ce On The Moon- Is another red, this time with a perfect shimmer. Again in 2 coats this colour is perfect. I really love how the shimmer is with this polish. it just screams christmas.

Let Your Love Shine- is a glittery deep red that when applied with 2 coats by itself looks totally amazing and even a little like you have layered over black but its not!!

Guys and Galaxies- is a deep vampy maroon. the formula is amazing on it almost a one coater. I love colours like malaga wine etc but the formula was not the best, but this is a must have if you love vampy red/maroons.

Press * For Silver- is a rose pink silver colour that has a metallic finish. I found it a little streaky as you can see in the swatches. that saying I did love the uniqueness of the colour and I'll give it another go with a different base coat. I used 2 coats.

Ce-less-tial is More- is what I would almost call a textured glitter polish. It has the rose gold colour similar to Press * for Silver, and was opaque in 2 coats. A clear top coat is perfect to smooth this one out but the textured look is also nice.

Comet Closer- is a sliver polish with a slight cool gold hue. the polish has a slight texture feel to it but nothing a top coat cant fix. I only used 2 coats.

Super Star Status- a silver and platinum gold polish which has a texture like the opi liquid sands. I used 2 coats for coverage and if you do not like the texture effect you can use a top coat to give a glossy effect.

I'm In The Moon For Love- is a pretty purple plum shimmer polish. I used 2 coats for coverage. I also loved that in some lights it had a slight duochrome look shifting to a darker purple.

Infrared-y To Glow- is a pink and silver glitter topper. I found this glitter super unique. I've never seen glitter this shape before. It is like a Hex glitter had been chopped up. I actually quite liked it. The little silver holo glitters also looked just right in the polish. I used one coat over The Center of the You-niverse .

Give Me Space- Is my favourite from the collection. I really hope OPI bring back more polishes like this and are heading down the holo direction again. This is a 2 coater blue polish that has a shimmer and small holographic particles that are awesome in some lights. This polish reminds me of some of the older DS polishes OPI released prior to 2006. Fingers crossed they release more!!!!
