Sally Hansen Complete Salon Red Carpet Edition Swatches

*Press Sample

Hi there everyone!
Today I have the New Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Red Carpet Edition polishes to share with you.
These I had seen in the shops for a week or two before I received the samples. and honestly. this collection is the best that Sally Hansen has brought out here in Oz for a long time. Don't get me wrong I love all Sally Hansen products. The formula is 99% of the time perfect and I love the colours, but lately I have been seeing what USA Sally Hansen customers have been getting......YES.....I'M TALKING THE FOIL COLLECTION ......* Stares at Sally Hansen Australia.....*  and yup it has been disappointing that we have not been getting the same stuff. The last time I checked we were in the 21st century so I don't understand why we cannot get the same stuff as USA. It makes me sad that I don't have all these polishes in my collection :(

Anyways lets get back to this amazing colour array I have today!!!!

So all of these colours have a fantastic formula. I used 2 coats with all of them apart from the silver which needed 3 coats for full opacity.
I used a Sally Hansen base coat and their big gloss coat for TC.

Let's check them out shall we????

Rule of Plum- is a rich purple burgundy shimmer with what looks to be glass flakies throughout. What I loved about this polish was that it really "glowed"in the sun and then in the shade had a completely different depth to it. The colour remined me of a pale version of Chanel Taboo. and I think if I swatched it over a navy it may just be very similar.

Scarlet Letter- Is a bright red shimmer with a subtle gold shimmer to it. You cannot see the shimmer in the sun, but in the shade it is noticeable, plus the shimmer is more evident in real life.
I love this colour. In the shade it reminded me of Iron Mans Armour,so I can see some Iron Man manis coming soon ;)

Lux Tux- This polish is a black jelly filled to the brim with different sized silver glitters. If you own OPI Metallic for Life, this is a similar polish, but not as gluggy. I used 2 coats tho I could have done with a third. Saying that I think one coat over Sally Hansens black out would give a just as good effect.

24K Dipped- When I saw this I thought is would be very similar to the new Sally Hansens miracle Gel Game of Chromes, but when I wore it the colour is very much different. The gold in this polish is more leaning to copper/brown ,while the game of chromes polish is more of a yellow gold.

Diamond Jubilee- Is a silver micro glitter polish. If you are after a bit of a glitter kick over a basic creme this is for you. If you want a dense glitter polish, you can also layer it to get opacity. I used 3 coats for these pics but If you did 2 over a silver base I think that would be a good compromise to a glitter bomb silver style!

Glitter Bomb- This I would have to say is the most popular polish ever. I can think of at least 4 brands that have the exact same polish. the first that comes to mind is A England- she walks in beauty. Mode did a version of it as did essence and now Sally Hansen. don't get me wrong. It is a pretty colour, but a common duped colour. I decided to use 2 coats over 24K dipped and then one coat over SH Black out on the ring finger to you can see the difference it looks over colours.
It does shimmer gold in the sun with the pick glitters that pop.So i can see why everyone wants this shade in their collection!!!
