Sally Hansen Triple Shine Swatches- part 1

Hi there everyone! The next few days we have some big posts for you here at loki's lacquer!
Sally Hansen has launched their Triple Shine Collection here in australia and what a collection of colours!!!!! Before we start with the swatches, I'd like to tell you a few things I found awesome about this collection. First up......... The lids. They come off to reveal a smaller more manageable cap and brush, so if you are looking at them thinking "what an awkward brush to hold...." think again!! Also, the brush. It is by far the widest brush I have seen on a bottle of polish. and I love it! pretty much only one stroke on my pinky for full coverage. love it!!! The other thing is the Triple Shine Formula. Most of the cremes were 2 coaters and even without a top coat they were super shiny. Tho I always recommend a top coat with any polish.
I will have my top picks at the end of the 3 posts and a cheeky give-away of them too. So make sure you subscribe to Loki's Lacquer and not miss out!!!

Today we are going to look at the Cremes.

Bait Me- Is a beautiful grey shimmery creme. When I first saw this polish in the bottle I was not sure about it. I was not sure if it would be all wishy washy on my skin but once I layered 3 coats over my base coat, I was totally convinced of this colour! The formula was a little streaky with the first coat but leveled out on the second and third coat. I love how it is a really pale grey almost white and it reminded me a little of Illamasqua raindrops a bit.

Oyster Bar- If you are looking for a good silver metallic creme, you may have just found it with this polish. The formula was great and I only needed 2 coats. It does show the brush lines, but then most of metallic and mirror polishes do. I have tried it a few times for stamping as well and it seems to be ok over black and dark colours.

Vanity Flare- Is a classic purple/lilac creme. Just 2 coats were needed for opacity and the colour just screams summer! But can also be used for more winter designs too. I really liked the colour. And I will be using this as one of my go to purples for nail art.

Pixie Sticks- The name of this polish makes me hungry!!! I loved pixie sticks when I was a kid, but you cant really get them here in Oz any more :( but hey! maybe this polish will make up for it in the amazing pink it gives us!!! In my collection I do not really have anything quite like it. The pink is leaning on the orange side which I really like, as most pinks are that bright pink or neon, or on the other side of the spectrum where they are really pale. Again only 2 coats for full opacity, and the formula was great!

Reef Raf- Would be what I would call a classic pink creme. Opaque in 2 coats and super pretty but nothing that I have not already seen before. Formula is great and no streaking at all. If you need a basic pink creme this one is for you.

Red Snapper- A classic red leaning to the orange side of the reds. Formula was great and no streaking. Two coats for opacity. Like the last pink Reef Raf, a staple colour in most polish collections, so if you are after a nice red i'd pick this one up.

Dive In- Is a medium to light blue/aqua. I really love this colour. I'm not really sure how to describe it. It looks green in some lights and blue in others. I would say it is almost aqua but with that blue hue in it also. I used 2 coats for opacity, and no streaking at all. If you like blues/aquas, you need this in your collection.

Lemon Shark- It is not often you find a good yellow creme, most of the ones I own are streaky to say the least and you need almost 100 coats to get a good non streaky coverage. But this yellow has ticked all the boxes for me. I was excited over the yellow in the OPI brazil collection but Lemon shark has taken the leader board now and I will be buying a back up for this baby!!!

Play Koi- Is your typical orange creme. A lovely colour but there are a few similar ones on the market. but I would buy this orange over other for one reason alone. the brush. with all these triple shine polishes having the really wide brush, that alone is reason enough to purchase them over a different brand. Again 2 coats for opacity and no streaking.
