OPI Coca-cola collection swatches

*Press Sample

Hi there everyone!!! today I have the OPI release I was waiting all year for! The OPI coca cola collection. The range comprises of 9 beautiful polishes.
First up I would like to say that the formula was amazing on all of them. I think the only polish i needed 3 coats was Green on the runway, but that is to be expected with a duochrome polish. All the other polishes I used 2 coats and a top coat of seche vite.

Lets check them out shall we????

Coca Cola Red- Based off the classic red of the coke can this red it totally to die for. None of my other OPI reds are the same and there is that slight orangy hue to the colour that shouts COKE!!!!!!

I hand painted on the logo on my ring finger with Color Club nail art pens tho trying to get it so small you can hardly see it.
Love it!!!! Just love it!!!!!!

Turn on the haute light- Now first off a lot of you readers will be looking at this polish scratching your head going "that's not its name?!?" Ok so you are all shouting at your screens "It's called My signature is DC!!!!" and you would be correct. But in Australia for some reason OPI renamed the colour for Diet Coke to "turn on the haute light" The polish is the same as far as I know just the name has changed. But I have purchased from america the other one and I will pop up comparisons when it arrives for all to see :)
Meanwhile this beautiful silver foil is to die for just like all of the other colours. I love silver and I think this baby will be getting a lot of play time as undies.
I hand painted the logo on my ring fingers with colour club nail art pens.
One thing to note with this polish. It shows every inperfection your nails and is super hard to focus with the camera.

Today I accomplished zero- Well I'm sure your guessing this is for Coke Zero, and you would be correct. A bottle of black polish filled with little red/pinky glitters. The polish reminded me a lot of OPI Stay the night but not in a liquid sand. I will have to do a comparison of that as well when I get 5 mins! The glitter was fairly chunky and coverage was not an issue tho after my top coat of Seche Vite the polish was still a little lumpy. this would be due to the sheer amount of glitter in the bottle so you cannot complain about that!!!!!
I hand pained the logo on my nail with the Color club nail art pens.

Sorry I'm fizzy today- Is a pretty pink/salmon creme. The colour is to represent vanilla coke. The formula was great so I topped it off with a feature nail of your so vain-lla and a coke can water decal.

Your so vain-illa- Is the counter part to OPI sorry i'm fizzy today. This is also based of vanilla coke and is a cream coloured creme. I thought at first this would be a dupe for a few other the other neutral OPI's out there but I was wrong, they are all different and I will do a comparison swatch as well of these.
I popped on a vanilla coke water decal for an accent nail.

Green on the Runway- So I am a sucker for greens and this is no exception. Green on the runway would have to be my favourite of the collection. Two reasons..... its green....and it is a duochrome! I wish OPI did more duos. Really I do! They seem to really get it right when they do, tho recently all of the duos they have done have pretty much been the same colour shift, but this is different.A green to red shift is amazing. I would have loved to see a green to blue shift, as thats the sprite colours but hey! I am not complaining!! I got an amazing duochrome!!!!
and on top of everything you do not need a base of black for this puppy! Just 3 coats by itself and I got shifting colours everywhere!!!!! I also did a little gradient of Green on the runnway and OPI I saw u saw we all saw warsaw for the sprite logo.

Orange you stylish- So this is the second polish in the collection that is different to the USA release. In america they released an orange glitter combo for Fanta and called it Orange you fantastic. Which makes perfect sense. For whatever reason legal or otherwise Australia received a different version. The polish is and orange creme. Honestly I was gutted. The orange glitter looked amazing and I could see halloween manis written all over the colour. I ended up ordering the american version online and I will share swatches of the both fanta based colours when I receive them/
Meanwhile The orange that is in the Australian release is a great fanta orange. I checked my OPI collection and nothing is similar. Formula was awesome and I cannot wait to use it with other manis.....I can see a lot of pumpkins in my future ;)

A grape affair- Is a deep purple creme named after grape fanta. We do not get grape fanta here in australia very often it tends to be a seasonal thing, but it is my daughters favourite fizzy drink so when it is available I buy many bottles!!!
The colour really depicts the drink. Several people have asked if it is similar to OPI vant to bite my neck and OPI do you have this colour in stockholm? so I will do a comparison swatch of those too.
I hand painted the logo but again sooo hard to master such a tiny thing!!!

Get cherried away- based on cherry coke...which is another cola drink we do not get enough of over here in Oz......the colour is a purpley plum creme. I love this colour a lot tho as soon as I received it the colour reminded me a lot of OPI casino royale and OPI anti bleak. I don't have anti bleak but I do have casino royale so I will do a comparison later.
That said the colour is great as is the formula.

This collection is a must have. Every colour is amazing and the formula is awesome. I love that OPI did not do 100 different reds and made sure there was a lot of variety in the hue of this collection.
You can purchase this collection from Myer or David jones now and they retail for $19.95 each.

Until next time..........
