Today I have a super bright collection to share with you from Celestial Cosmetics.
The Electric You Collection is a collaboration with Celestial Cosmetics and Color 4 Nails, and is inspired by the Electric Zoo music festival.
Here is the trailer for this years festival. You can totally see where the inspiration for this collection comes from!
There is 5 colours in the collection and a 6th colour which did not make the cut for the collection but a small amount of it will be available at a reduced price when the collection is released.
Under Black light
so lets get on with the swatches.
All of these swatches are 2 coats over a white gel polish base, unless stated other wise. I swatched theses colours over white as it really made the neon pop and that is what these colours are all about!!
I also used a HK girl top coat with all of these swatches, which can also be purchased from Celestial Cosmetics.
Inception- Is a bright blue neon holographic polish. The colour really pops and it does glow a little under a blacklight/UV light. I love the colour! Its bright and in your face as all these pretties are, but im a real sucker for blues and greens so I was in love with it straight away!!!!!

Trip- Is a hot orange holographic polish. This is super bright like the rest and under black light it is amazing!!! the brightness of the orange can been dulled a little if you do not swatch over white, but I like it BRIGHT!!!!

Blacklight
Tantrum- Is a bright red/orange holographic polish. I was not sure about this colour in the bottle but on the nail I totally loved it! It was a really warm colour but at the same time soooo bright!!!! and it glowed so well under black light! I love how you can still see the holo under the black light too.

Adrenaline- Is a glow green holographic polish. I love this colour too but I did use 3 coats with this one as I liked the finish better with 3 thin coats compared to 2 thicker ones.

Merge- Is a fluro pink holographic polish. This is a really pretty colour. Tho I do have a few others which are similar in my collection. I found the thing I loved with this one was again it glowed under blacklight which made it extra awesome for me!

Singularity- Is a bright purple holographic polish. This is the one that did not make the cut for the final collection. Unfortunately there was a slight pigment issue and there is little flecks of colours in the polish which did not dissolve correctly. Tho in my opinion once I did 3 coats over the white you could hardly see them as you will see in the swatches. This colour did not really glow under blacklight very much either. Celestial Cosmetics do have a few of these bottles for sale tho and at a reduced rate of $8.00 and I think it would be a great bargain!

Hi there everyone! Today I have to share with you a cheeky mani I did with Enchanted Polish Dime Piece. I was given this polish for my birthday month in a Birthday group I am involved in.
Dime piece seems to be one of the most holographic silver polishes out there. and the awesome thing was that it took only 2 coats to get opaque. I will be doing a comparison of a bunch of silver holos soon as I own many HTF ones like Gosh holo. It will be interesting to see how they all stand up!
If you get the chance to grab this polish be sure to do so as it will not disappoint!!!!!
Hi there everyone, today I have some Celestial Cosmetic spam to share with you. I love the holos that celestial cosmetics sell they are super holo and most of them only require 2 coats.
I have 3 celestial cosmetics holographics polishes to share with you today!
Galaxy Field- is a deep forest green holographic polish.I used 2 coats to get opacity, and a top coat of seche vite. I really love this colour. it reminds me a little of Glitter Gal lizard belly but lighter, plus i'm a sucker for any dark green. I'm still in search for my perfect British racing green holographic polish but this one comes pretty close!

Oberon- Is a bright lime green holographic polish. Again only 2 coats for this pretty! I am in love with this colour also!!! it reminded me a little of Enchanted polish March 2014 but darker. Like I said before any green polish I am a sucker for so this green was always going to be a hit!!! i used a seche vite top coat as well.

Meteoroid- Is hard to describe. It is a brownish holographic polish but in some lights, the polish looks gold/olive and others it has more of a purple hue to it. It is truly a beautiful polish. and every time I look at it i see something different. I used 3 thin coats for this to be opaque, but I could have used 2 coats if i had done it a little thicker. I also used a seche vite top coat.

Now here is a great thing!!!!! Celestial Cosmetics is having a sale right now!!! and they have up to 30% off their polishes! so some of the holographics are down to just $9.00 plus they do ship internationally as well!!!!! Now is the time to grab a pretty or two!!!!!!
Hi there everyone! today I have a little comparison for you. I was asked recently what a good metallic red would be, and at first I was like.... I don't think I have many metallic red polishes...... but then i went to my helmers.... and yep I do have a few. So I thought I would share what I came up with.
Metallic red is a hard colour to produce. you will see most metallic /foil colours seem to be silver or gold and rarely dark colours. I have to say tho 2 brands, Pretty Serious Cosmetics and Klean color stood out to me as the top 2 who had some great metallic polishes in red.
Ok so lets check out the swatches.

As you can see by far Klean Color Jewelry red was the most metallic/foil like polish. I picked it up at a $2 shop a while back but I have seen it about still. Pretty Serious Santa's sunburn is also an awesome metallic red tho it does go toward the orange red hue.
If you would like any other comparisons with polish, and if i have it in my collection I am happy to do more of these posts. just leave a comment.
Hi there everyone, today I have to share with you Dead Set Babes NEW Below the Surface holographic Collection! This is all about the ocean and every polish is stunning!
She-Horse- Is a pale mint coloured holographic polish. It is opaque in 2-3 thin coats and has a super holo flame in it. I love this colour and that it is subtle but also super holo so it can be worn in the day but at night the colour is still super pretty. Even in the shade you can see a slight holo effect which is awesome!

Mermaid Scales- Is a stunning teal holographic polish It is opaque in 2 coats and has an amazing flame! It really does remind me of mermaids, it is simply stunning!!!!!!! Plus it does stamp well over darker colours too!!!!!

Coral Reef- is a pale peachy pink colour that in some lights looks almost a pale rust colour. This would be a great addition for your work appropriate polishes. It is not to in your face bright but at the same time in the sun it's like BAM! HOLO!!!! This polish is a little sheer so it took me almost 4 coats for opacity tho if you layered it over another pale colour I would say 2 coats would be enough. you will need a top coat for this one tho as I found it did take quite a while to dry (10 min). Maybe it was cause I used so many coats and i'm impatient? but this was the only one that took a while to dry.

Fanta-sea Land- Is a pale lilac holo polish which leans to the blue end of the lilacs almost periwinkle. When I first saw this pretty I thought it may be a little like OPI DS Original, but it is on the blue side not pink. which is great as I now have another holo which is different to all the others I own!! I really loved this colour plus it was only 2 coats for opacity!!!!

Underwater Wonderland- Is the most AMAZING cobolt blue polish. It was to say the least super hard to photograph, and when the sun decided to show itself I'm going to re swatch and update these pics, but for now this was the best I could get. The polish is almost a one coater but I used 2 coats for these swatches. It is a subtle holo but the colour totally makes up for it. and if it was any more holo honestly the colour would have greyed out a little and it just would not be as awesome!!! but take my word for it this polish is stunning (but a bitch to photograph) Also.... It great for stamping!!! which you will see later in some nail art I created!

Flippin Out- is a grey holographic polish which has a slight blue hue to it. It is funny but when I think of grey holos I think deep charcoal grey or spectraflair in a bottle. This polish is neither. It is a mid grey and from the 10 or so different grey holos I own none of them look like this. I will have to do a holo showdown soon I think as I own over 100 holos and I'm pretty sure none of them are the same! I used 3 coats for opacity with this polish.
