OPI 50 Shades of Grey Collection Swatches

*Press Sample

Hi there everyone! Today I am lucky enough to share with you the new OPI 50 shades of grey collection.

This collection is totally amazing!!! I was not 100% convinced when I read OPI was going to do this collection but they totally pulled it off!!!
In the collection are 3 amazing greys a great silver, glitter silver/gold and an tomato red.

All the cremes were only 2 coats, The silver was 3 coats and the glitter was also 3 coats. Formula was great with every one.

Lets check them out.

Cement the deal- Is a pale grey creme. There is 3 grey cremes in the collection, this is the lightest of them. I love how the there are 3 slightly differing shades of grey in the collection.

Embrace the Gray- Is the middle shade of grey in the cremes. This is also a great formula and I found it a brilliant shade for background in nail art. Embrace the Gray also stamped well over a lighter background.

Dark side of the Mood- Is the darkest colour of the greys. Again a great base for nail art. It kind of reminded me of OPI Nein Nein OK Fine but I will be doing some comparison swatches so to share they are in fact different :)

Romantically Involved-  Is an amazing red creme. When I saw the press release, I was like OMG not another red! But when I received the collection in the mail I think I have a new OPI red I love so very much. I don't know how to describe it but the red is almost a pure tomato red. and has that slight orange hue. I will be doing some comparison posts with reds as well in a future post.

Shine for me- Is a silver/blue micro glitter metallic polish. I tried this colour 2 ways, as 3 coats by itself and then 1 coat over My silk tie. I found that the 3 coats by itself looks totally amazing!!! So I decided that  I would share those swatch pics.

I then decided to sponge on Shine for Me over Romantically Involved to create a gradient.

My Silk Tie- Is a metallic silver polish. I used 3 coats for the swatches. The formula was a little thin, tho It did stamp very well. I was happy to use 3 coats as they dried really quickly.

I also tried some nail art using My Silk Tie to stamp with.I stamped over Dark side of the Mood. I also used Nail Stamping Queen stamping polish Hot Lips and black.

The Whole Collection I personally thing is well worth purchasing. If I had to make my top picks I would say Shine for Me and Romantically Involved.

You can purchase the 50 Shades of Grey Collection from Myer and David Jones They retail for $19.95 each.

Until next time......
