OPI Brazil collection - Part 3

Hi there everyone!
Today is the 3rd installment of  the OPI Brazil collection. I had to split it into 3 parts as I took so many pics I did not want the post to take forever to load!
So lets take a quick look at the Collection to remind us what we will be seeing today.

I will be sharing with you the bottom row of polishes apart from OPI Amazon...Amazoff which you can see HERE you can also see Part 2 which is the top row HERE.
Ok! So on with the swatches.

Don't bossa nova me around- So this is the palest of the colours in the Brazil collection. It is a mushroom kind of colour with a hint of pink tone to it. At first i thought it may be similar to either OPI my vampire is buff or OPI don't pretzel my buttons, but when puttin them together in the light you could clearly see that they were different. I will still do a comparison swatch in another post tho, so stay tuned for that one.
Apart from that the formula was great and this really is a good "work "colour.

Taupe-less beach- So my hubby giggled a little at this one! This is a taupe colour as it states in the name so pretty much what you see is what you get. The formula was good but honestly it is a bit meh for my liking. Don't get me wrong, I know I will use it for undies, but this is not a colour I would normally wear. so I suppose i'm Bias. Tho it is worth having just to see my hubby giggle.
Two coats with this polish for opaqueness.

I Sao Paulo over there-  This is a few shades darker than Taupe-less beach. and just those few shades darker makes a world of difference. I really like this one. Apart from the fact it will make good undies, I felt this darker shade of taupe was a less washed out colour and really complemented my skin. I'm super happy with this one. Again the formula could not be faulted and went on a breeze. this was two coats.

OPI scores a goal!-  Ha! another polish my hubby got excited about! Seriously OPI you should name more polish after mens stuff. Because this is now the second time (the first being the OPI skyfall collection) that I have got my hubby interested in polish! The fact it has ANYTHING to do with football makes his head turn...and then you go in for the pounce...and get him to buy you all the polish named after stuff he likes!!! that's how I got the whole Skyfall (James Bond) collection last year!! Jedi mind tricked the crap out of him! Ok I got a bit off track there....back to the polish...... This is a what I would call a rusty brown. It has a lot of early colour to it with a slight orange hue. Actually I don't think I own anything like it in my OPI collection yet so I'm happy with the colour. I have seen similar colours in the OPI range over the years but nothing recent. formula was great and only 2 coats.

Next stop...The bikini zone-  So this one when I got it out of the box reminded me of about 2 other OPI polishes. OPI not like the movies and OPI peace, love and OPI. After grabbing these out of my stash I could see that it was not really like Peace, love and OPI but it looks a lot like Not like the movies. So apart from the swatches I did by itself I also did a comparison swatch of both polishes over black to see if they are dupes. Now don't get me wrong I really like this polish but seriously?? It took 5 coats to get no visible nail line. I think next time I wear it I will be wearing undies as I love the colour. The polish has a great pink flakie shimmer to it with a gold shift. you can see this better in the shade than in the sun.

So here are the comparison swatches in sun and shade. Really in the sun the polish does not look that different, it is when you are in the shade you can really see it. Not like the movies has a distinct green duochrome while Next stop... the bikini zone has more of a gold duochrome. So both polishes should have a space in your stash.

Thats the lot!! overall I think OPI have brought a good honest collection. It was great to see not much red in the collection and the orange/coral/pink colours are awesome!!!

You can purchase this whole collection at MYER or David Jones. and they retail for $19.95 a bottle.

Until next time.......
